Welcome Travelers
- We are recognized as the Best Value RV Park in the Tucson area -
Our guests are initially attracted to Desert Trails RV Park by our natural desert setting & beautiful location. When guests arrive they are surprised by the size and the completeness of our facilities. We (Pericles & Kyoko Wyatt) are now celebrating our 11th year of ownership. We make major upgrades each "off-season" and this year we have added a 5th building due to increased Activities.
Also new is the Water garden/fish pond. The 600 fish make it very extensive for an Arizona Park and a relaxing & social focus point .
The free park-wide Wi-Fi has been upgraded last season, to much success. Road improvements, a four-table Pool Hall and a 3rd Laundry facility are just some of the modifications we try to make each off-season. The Heated pool, proved almost as popular as the Hot Tub. This year we are taking suggestions of how best to use the giant outdoor recreation area (recently created).
Guests frequently compliment us on our "Landscaping" of Mesquite Trees, miniature gardens, Cacti, hidden sidewalks, Hilltop views, Oleander driveways and Palm Trees. Some of this is prominent in the "Desert Oasis" in the center of the RV Park. Here the thick fauna and trees attract Horned Owls, Cardinals, Crested Hawks and Finches among over 50 varieties of birds seen in our Park. Javelina and Coyotes also wander through at times, but are far outnumbered by the Rabbits, Roadrunners and Doves.
Direct access to Saguaro National Park benefits almost all of our guests who like to walk or bike.
Our medium-sized Main Rec. Hall seems just perfect for the Entertainers for good interaction with the audience. It attracts bigger names, who normally perform in larger auditoriums.
In the winter we provide a free Ice Machine for our guests along with Picnic Tables, heated Pool, Book & Video Library, Billiard Hall, Gym, Free local Phones, Soda Machine and we Do Not charge for Electric or any additional Taxes! Everything is included in the advertised price.
Our professional Staff have extensive information on the area as well as copies of the miles of Hiking Trails directly behind us. We're not far from Shopping & Town and have more "hidden" tour information, after you've visited the main attractions nearby.
We're not your typical "Senior RV Park" and attract an energetic mix of "Adult-only" guests after they've read about us on other "RV Review" web sites.
If unsure of the area, visitors can pay for a 1 or 2 nights stay & if they decide they would like to stay longer we will apply their first 2 nights to a "weekly" or "monthly" Rate. So you don't need to decide, upon arrival, how long to stay. You will still get the same savings as a longer visit.
In other words, if you like a quiet location, nature, fun & exploring; we're confident this is the place for you. You can also read comments by previous guests.
